Our life has been rather crazy the last six weeks due to Pat's health. Two weeks ago we were called by the doctor to hurry and get to Emergency and have him check due to his Glucose Level was 481. Within hours we were scene by two different doctors and told Pat is a Diabetic. The two of us looked at each other and could not believe this was now another factor which would play into his health. First his heart and now Diabetes. We both wonder now if this was the cause of his heart to race??? We are both learning new diet and medicine and questioning health care these days. You are sent to one doctor then another and they all tell you they have the solution. It has been a very trying time just having faith has helped. My Mom in law has been a wonderful assets through all of this. She understands the diet and sugar levels in which he need to be healthy. My own brother is a diabetic and has given me a few pointers as well. Who knew that once you turn 50 your health could change so drastically?
I have sat at my computer and thought about writing but never felt the desire. I promised my self I was going to blog at least three times a week. This is why I do not do well with New Years Resolutions.
What I did start this year was Project Life....
and I have been surprisingly keeping up with the system. It may not be as fancy as my other Scrappy Friends but it is documenting our life and I am ok with just that....
